You Need to Change How You Write.

Ever notice those little summary boxes at the top of Google?

Or how ChatGPT gives a direct answer immediately?

If you want to be in that answer, you need to change how you write.

The "Inverted Pyramid" Method:

In school, you were taught to write an intro, body, and conclusion. In 2026, you need to write the Answer First.

  • Don't bury the lead.
If the headline is "How much does a website cost?", the first sentence should be: "A custom website typically costs between $3,000 and $10,000."

  • Use Lists.
AI loves bullet points. They are easy to parse.

  • Add "According to..."
clear references help the AI verify your facts.

Rich’s Corner:

I used to tell clients to write long, flowing intros to "hook" the reader. Now? Get to the point. Respect the user's time (and the bot's processing power). You can add the flowery language after you’ve answered the question.
